I appreciate your honesty and know exactly where you are coming from. I am not ashamed to admit that I have shed a tear or two when my kids have done well and have been known to also shed one when they have fallen short of their goals. I know that suffering disappointment is part of growing as a person but being sad and also happy are real emotions.

I don't think being an emotional parent is the same as being a crazy parent. I am ok with being emotional from time to time. Its real.

I love your writings!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6780031148561095801.post-45808036459769500842012-06-03T07:06:33.736-07:002012-06-03T07:06:33.736-07:00Beautiful.

I think you're doing a fantastic job of standing by them and offering support... whilst enjoying their achievements too.
I hope to one day do the same for my boys also. I guess for every 'crazy' sports parent, there are dozens who are loving and encouraging like yourself... and that's a really positive thing.
Good luck to your gorgeous girls, hope they have heaps of fun and feel happy that they're done their very best, whatever the results may be xoAll For Lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13151973819133926868noreply@blogger.com
