Wordless Wednesday: An Evening at the Beach

Occasionally, just occasionally, it happens...a perfect day.

In the evening after after Boogie Boarding we had a quiet, relaxing family walk on the most beautiful beach.....A picnic of fish & chips tastes so much better with the smell of salt in the air and the oysters...O' my goodness, the oysters.....they were the taste of the ocean itself!

    So i was a pharmacologist (science mummy background, tick) & have 4 super athletic children (as in state level cross country & my high schooler made it to nationals for athletics this year, tick) so we have to be friends.     I love the first pic of your family members holding hands around the base of the lighthouse. And I love your decadent tray of goodies at the end. Wow what a way to finish an evening on the beachfront! I must think of the oysters next time!
